Our Environmental Issues expeditions are curated to provide in-depth experiences focused on finding solutions to the environmental issues we are facing today as a global community. Students partner with local experts to better understand the interaction between humans and their environment. Choose from a variety of destinations to learn how environmental science in the lab integrates and shows up in the physical and biological world around us. Students participate in interviews with local experts, conservation efforts, urban planning, and sustainability programs. Envision snorkeling the coral reefs surrounding the Abaco islands in the Bahamas to measure human impact or taking water samples from the Irrawaddy River in Myanmar. Choose from destinations like Iceland, Germany and the Bahamas.
