Itinerary

After a long flight, your transportation will take you to your hotel for a great meal and a well deserved rest.

This morning the adventure begins with SkyWalk Auckland. Your experienced guide will get you set up (safety harness a must) for your 360 degree, 630 feet above ground, heart pumping, no-handrail walk around the ledge of the SkyWalk platform.

After lunch in the Sky Tower Restaurant, your guide will take you to the Waitakere Ranges where the views from the Tasman Sea to the Pacific Ocean are spectacular. Your guide will entertain you with stories of the area’s Maori history and lores along the way. Enjoy an afternoon walk on Black Sand Beach and continue on to a bush walk through the lush rainforest.

Hiking boots are the fashion for today! Your guided hiking tour will begin at Mt. Eden, the sacred Maori peak of Maungawhau. The hiking continues to three lesser peaks; Mangere Mountain, Mt. Wellington and One Tree Hill. These inactive volcanoes afford panoramic views of Auckland, Waitemata Harbor, Manukau Harbor and Rangitoto Island.

Complete your day with a dinner cruise on Waitemata Harbor. Enjoy a well deserved relaxing dinner as you sail around the harbor mesmerized by the beautiful sunset. Reflect on your day as Auckland’s enchanting skyline lights up the night.

Bring your flip flops – today is beach day! The first stop on your guided tour is Coromandel Township, a former gold rush settlement. Grab a snack before heading to Whitianga where you can swim at the Waiau Waterfall.

The next leg of the journey is by boat to visit Hahei. Enjoy the views of the amazing coastline as you cruise. Stop for a picnic lunch at the magnificent sea caves and do some exploring.

The Hot Water Beach is next on the itinerary, dig your own personal hole in the sand and relax in the warm water of your own private spa.

Watch Auckland wake up from the sky! A morning seaplane tour will give you a brand new, birds-eye view of the area. Take off and land in the Harbor for a one-of-a-kind flight. Fly over Lake Pupuke, Rangitoto, Motutapu, Motuihe, and Brown’s Islands. Get up close with the volcanic craters from a truly unique perspective as you fly over.

This afternoon, view the water close up on your glass kayak adventure. The Goat Island marine reserve is a protected area that allows kayakers to experience the local marine life up-close and personal. Paddle around the reserve, enjoying a quiet afternoon on the water.

Dinner tonight is a walking food and beverage pairing tour. Your foodie guide will take you to the most interesting food haunts in Auckland. Experience local cuisine at it’s finest with influences of Maori, Asian, and Pacific Island flavors. Taste some amazing food, enjoy some libations, share some great stories.

The options for today are endless. You could sail an authentic America’s Cup boat and compete in a race. There are mountains to climb, bungee jumping, zip lines, hot air balloon rides, relaxing at the beach, food tours, brew tours, wineries, or just soak up the Aussie vibe. The day is yours!

End your trip with a visit to one of your new favorite restaurants for a final group dinner.

Time to say Poroporoaki, or goodbye, to New Zealand. You will leave with amazing stories of your wonderland adventure!
