Itinerary

After flying into Buffalo, NY, you will be transported to Niagara Falls where your adventures in travel and love for photography will merge as you begin capturing the beauty of one of the wonders of the natural world. Upon arrival, you will quickly be able to feel the spray from the falls on your face as you experience the thundering roar of the raw power of the Niagara River. You’ll be sure to find rainbows in the rising mist above and through the falls in your photos!

This evening, you’ll get to know each other and your guide over a relaxing and delicious dinner overlooking impressive views. Before turning in, you’ll be able to experience the colorful nightly illumination of the falls, which makes for spectacular photographs!

Today you’ll get even closer to the roaring waters as you venture to Prospect Point Park where you’ll stand at the brink of the American Falls. Then you’ll take the elevator down to the river to board the Maid of the Mist for a very up-close encounter with the base of the falls. You will definitely get wet on this adventure! You will be provided with a raincoat which may help a little, but shield your camera!

And tonight, a great dinner together with another spectacular display of colors over the falls!

Experience hands-on experiments at the Niagara Power Project high above the Niagara River Gorge. Learn about harnessing the power of water as a renewable resource for electricity! Hydroelectric power generated by the Niagara River supplies more than 25 percent of the electricity for Ontario, Canada, and New York State.

Enjoy an evening of more dramatic views and spectacular lights over the falls.

Time to get wet again!  Dressed in ponchos and non-slip foot coverings, this incredible journey takes you on an elevator to the depths of the Niagara Gorge. Then follow your guide along wooden walkways (bravely taken down and rebuilt every year) to the “Hurricane Deck” where you’ll be drenched with the thundering spray of the absolutely breathtaking Bridal Veil Falls.

Dry off as you explore the rest of Goat Island with its lovely wooded trails and views of the falls. You can even look down and see the Cave of the Winds where you just got soaked!

Today, you’ll stay dry as you explore Niagara Falls State Park, the nation’s oldest state park. Here you’ll find more opportunities for amazing photographs on a trolley tour and at the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center. They even have a rock-climbing wall made of the rocks and fossils found in the falls! Let’s get you in that photo!

Today, you won’t get wet, but you can still experience an underwater world with sea life from ecosystems around the world at the Aquarium of Niagara. How about some personal animal encounters? Meet a penguin with a hands-on, “beak-to-nose” encounter. And then learn more about how climate change, habitat destruction, commercial overfishing, and more are threatening their survival. At the Seal Encounter, go behind-the-scenes to see how the animals are cared for, and personally meet a rescued seal.  You’ll find lots of unique photos awaiting you here!

Breathe in and feel the magical mist of Niagara Falls touching your face one more time. Take a last-minute photo that captures the fall’s rainbows. As you return home, may your photos always bring fond memories of Niagara Falls and the new friends you met along the way.
