Arabian Wildlife Expedition in the UAE

Your overseas adventure travel has begun! Upon arriving at Dubai International Airport (DXB), you will meet your local guide and head to your hotel to unpack. You can then regroup for mouth-watering, authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. 

Your local guides will be with you through each step of your travels, so feel free to introduce yourself and ask lots of questions! Spend the rest of your afternoon exploring Dubai at your leisure. From its lush beaches to luxury shopping to lively nightlife, there are activities here for everyone. However, make sure you get lots of rest before the first excursion of your trip. 

All aboard! Your private yacht will be leaving first thing in the morning to take you to the waters of Musandam. The Musandam Governorate is a peninsula known for its jagged coastline and rich marine life. The six-hour cruise includes dolphin watching, snorkeling and swimming, as well as visiting the historical Seebi and Telegraph Islands. Lounge on soft cushions and enjoy incredible views. 

In the evening, after freshening up, your guides will lead you to the heart of Dubai to experience an exotic dinner at a rooftop restaurant. As you take in the magnificent views of the city, be sure to discuss your favorite moments of the day, as well as the schedule for the days ahead. 

Heading out of the cosmopolitan city, hop into the saddle for a tranquil morning of Arabian horseback riding – an absolute highlight of this trip. A professional equestrian instructor will guide you into the desert wilderness, where you’ll soak up the harmony and beauty of the desert. As you ride through red sand and massive, rolling dunes, keep a lookout for desert wildlife. Halfway through the ride, you will stop for some light freshments and snacks, as well as an opportunity for sand-boarding! 

Desertification is posing a threat to the UAE, which means that fertile land becomes desert due to the droughts, inappropriate agriculture, and deforestation. An expert on the topic will be joining you on this excursion to educate the implications of desertification and what communities, businesses, governments, and you can do to combat it. 

You can’t embrace the authentic culture of the UAE until you explore Abu Dhabi. The location is rich with archeological evidence that dates back to the third millennium B.C. You’ll start by viewing one of the world’s largest mosques, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Following this, you’ll explore Heritage Village, as well as a drive along Corniche Beach. Start your day with a lavish buffet breakfast at a five-star venue next to the world-class Arabian Race Horse Stables. You’ll then stroll over to enjoy a personal encounter with these animals, visit the equine bathing pools, and get a behind the scenes look at the equestrian race track venue. Be sure to ask the trainers how they ensure the ethical treatment of their horses.

In the afternoon, you’ll head off to the Green Planet, which is Dubai’s indoor rainforest. Here you’ll have the opportunity to step inside a bat cave, touch an emerald boa, and hug a friendly sloth. With over 3,000 plants and animals to see, it’ll inspire you to care more for the animals who inhabit this earth. 

Finish your last day in the UAE with a bang. A luxury helicopter will provide you with a bird’s eye view of Dubai. Soak up the city’s iconic buildings and magnificent skyline. You’ll also fly over the Persian Gulf coast and Palm Island, as well as Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building! 

Upon landing, you’ll enjoy a dune drive through the Arabian Desert to a campsite, where you will enjoy a Middle Eastern dinner. Enjoy the entertainment of belly dancers, camel rides, henna paintings, and more. 

Your final morning will consist of an early breakfast on the beach with your local guides. After packing, you will be transported to the local airport to fly home.
