New York City has so much to explore. After checking in to your centrally located hotel, wander over to the Empire State Building. Ride the elevator up to the 102nd-floor observation platform for the most spectacular view of New York City.

Check in to the fair this morning and make the final decision on the seminars you will attend. You could explore Human Genetic Engineering, Physics and Missing Space Matter, or When Will We Populate Mars and many others.

Enjoy a night on the town at the famed Lincoln Center, where the evening’s program brings science and music together as one. Dressed in your finest cocktail attire, sway to the sounds of cool jazz as you join your fellow attendees for a night to remember. Listen to world-class musicians, enjoy first-class nibbles and rub elbows with who’s who in the science world.

Today your choices could be String Theory, Exploring a Career in Aerospace, or choose from a plethora of seminars on AI (artificial intelligence). Tonight, you will be treated to a cruise around Manhattan Island. Cruise by the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Enjoy amazing views of the Manhattan as it sparkles in the evening sky.

Attend a Q&A panel event on a timely topic where the discussion is led by renowned scientists in the field. After the panel discussion, attend a private reception for the panelists where you can have a one-to-one conversation with several of the participants.

After lunch, your private docent will walk you through the Ground Zero and the National September 11 Memorial and Museum. Your docent will share several city residents’ personal stories of tragedy and heroism, taking you on a moving tour that is not to be missed.

Today you will have a chance to attend a job fair. Discover the many areas of research in science. Discuss career paths with people in the business who can guide you in your career search. Make valuable connections that could help you in your future science career

After lunch, enjoy a 6-mile bike ride through Central Park. Your expert guide will help you navigate around the park, highlighting the famous sites there. The natural beauty of the park will give you a chance to clear your head and consider your future in the field of science.

There is so much to do in this incredible city. Options for your day include Times Square, the Chrysler Building, One World Observatory, Brooklyn Bridge, Grand Central Terminal and more.

As you leave “The City That Never Sleeps,” your head will be spinning with all the wonder that is the World Science Festival.
