Itinerary

Your overseas adventure has begun as you travel to London. As your plane descends, look out your window to see views of the big city and rural countryside that makes up the United Kingdom. A local guide will greet you at the airport and transfer you to an inner-city hotel.

Take some time to unpack and rest. If you are in the mood for activity, take a dip in the hotel pool, stop by a local café, or stroll along the city’s busy streets. In the evening, you will meet up with your group and guide for dinner at the hotel restaurant — which is an excellent opportunity to ask questions about your upcoming schedule.

After a good night’s sleep, it’s time to explore the many sights and sounds of the iconic city of London. You’ll first travel to the main attractions of Big Ben and Westminster Abbey for photo opportunities. Next, you’ll enjoy a fast-track entry and guided tour of St. Paul’s Cathedral. You’ll also watch the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace. Can you make them smile? Enjoy lunch at a local pub before heading to Thames River for a sightseeing cruise. Finally, enjoy a birds-eye-view of the famous city by riding the London Eye.

Calling all movie lovers and history buffs alike, today is for you! You’ll start by visiting the renowned University city of Oxford. A professional will guide you through England’s oldest university campus. Walk along the cobblestone streets and explore the famous college buildings. After lunch, your next stop is at the Warner Bros. Studio. Here you will get a behind-the-scenes look at the production of the “Harry Potter” movie series. Catch a train on Platform 9¾, be allocated to a Hogwarts house, and see the real props used in the movie.

Wake up bright and early for an absolute highlight of this trip! Travel to the famous and prestigious All England Club in Wimbledon to be greeted by your expert tennis guides. Your behind-the-scenes-tour of this sporting venue will begin at Centre Court. Legendary athletes, such as Roger Federer, Andy Murray, and Raphael Nadel have played matches on these very grounds. Soak up views of the pony-drawn carriage once used to maintain the courts’ conditions. Following this, make your way to Aorangi Terrace, the mound by which fans gather to indulge in strawberries and cream. Learn more about the history of Wimbledon as you explore the Millennium Building, an area reserved for high-profile athletes. Finally, explore the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum, which has exhibits dating back to 1555. Be sure to drop by the trophies room and 3D cinema. Revitalize with snacks in the on-site restaurant before returning to your hotel. If the season permits you to do so, attend a tennis match at the All England Club tonight. Cheer on your favorite famous athletes!

Take a break from city life to journey into England’s oh-so-pretty countryside. As your coach enters the awe-inspiring Cotswold hills, be sure to have your camera ready. Disembark in the town of Burford, renowned for its local stone houses and wide main street. Enjoy high tea at a 17th-century teahouse. Mmm, which was your favorite dessert? Soak up the atmosphere of the stone fireplace and oak-beamed ridges of the venue. Continue to Bourton-on-the-Water to enjoy free time. Finally, you’ll arrive at the Stow-on-the-Wold market town — a tourist favorite! Search amongst tea and gift shops for a perfect souvenir.

For your final day in the United Kingdom, head to southern England to tour two of the United Kingdom’s top-rated attractions. First, you’ll arrive at Stonehenge. Enjoy a guided tour of these prehistoric stone monuments situated on the Salisbury Plain. Learn about how these large stones were used to track the sun and stars. Next, you’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before exploring the 18th-century city of Bath. Walk along its beautiful streets, visit the Royal Crescent, and (of course!) explore the Roman Baths.

It has been an educational and adventurous week in the United Kingdom, but the time has come to say goodbye. Enjoy one final English breakfast with your group and guides. Converse about what you learned. Next, you’ll be transferred to the local airport for your flight home.

The United Kingdom is steeped in tradition, and one of the most celebrated is the Wimbledon tennis tournament at the famous All England Club. On this trip you’ll get an insider’s tour to learn about the tourney’s history and culture. You’ll also see London’s highlights like Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and the London Eye, have high tea in the Cotswolds, see Stonehenge, and tour the renowned University of Oxford campus.
