Itinerary

Your adventure in global travel has begun as you head to Corfu. As your plane descends, take a look out of your window to see the island’s crystal-clear waters, pristine beaches, and quaint towns. A local guide will be waiting to transfer you to your all-inclusive resort.

The afternoon is yours to explore your environment. There’s no time to waste, so tour the village, swim on the beach, or get a message at the hotel spa. In the evening, you’ll meet with your guide for a traditional Mediterranean-style dinner, providing you with a great opportunity to get to know your guides and ask questions about your upcoming adventures.

Start your first full day in Greece with a sightseeing tour by sea. Board your boat to cruise around the island. Your first stop is Lakka, a tranquil traditional village. Explore its narrow streets and shop and enjoy lunch at its traditional taverna. Sunbathe and swim at a nearby colorful beach with crystal water. Board the boat to view the island’s rocky coastline. Finally, you will arrive at the Blue Caves. Slowly cruise into the caverns where you’ll be entirely surrounded by spectacular rock. Swim deeper into the cave if you dare!

A professional marine scientist and oceanographer will accompany your oceans excursions throughout the trip to learn about the marine life you encounter, as well as their interactions with the environment. Be sure to ask lots of questions to learn return home with more expertise in marine sciences.

Get up at the crack of dawn for a short 30-minute flight to the island of Mykonos. After unpacking at your resort, embark on your island tour. Climb into your private coach to arrive at Mykonos town. Walk along whitewashed streets and learn how the twisting roads were designed to confuse invading pirates. At every turn, you will find a photo-worthy opportunity. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before boarding the vehicle to explore the island’s other top attractions, including Kalafatis Beach for a swim, the village of Ano Mera for market shopping, and the windmills of Kato Mili for a panoramic view.

Calling all adventurers and animal lovers, today was planned for you! Climb onto a luxury yacht for a two-hour cruise until you reach a diving hotspot. Learn how to operate your equipment in a lesson before diving into the water. Enjoy an up-close and personal experience with Greece’s marine life, including colorful exotic fish, squids, sea slugs, and sea turtles. If you see a particular species you want to learn more about, motion to your marine scientist underwater. After four hours of diving, you’ll make your way back to the resort. Enjoy a rewarding and hearty lunch as you cruise.

Start the morning with a cruise to Greece’s most famous island, Santorini. From here, you will board a luxury coach for a wine estate tour. Admire the breathtaking countryside as you drive. When you arrive at the vineyard, learn about how grapes grow from a volcanic “aspa” soil, resulting in wine with light-flavored notes that is rich in minerals. Tour wine cellars and learn how to harvest the grapes. Finally, sip on 12 different varieties of the island wine. Which one is your favorite?! Watch the sun setting over the vineyard before heading to your resort.

For your last full day in Greece, climb onto a luxurious, sleek catamaran. Find a comfy spot to enjoy the wind in your hair and salty sea smell. Watch the island of Santorini recede behind you as you cruise. Sail by the “Indian Rock,” which has a dramatic face and the old Aspronisi Lighthouse. Next, anchor at the volcanic hot springs for a mud bath. Continue to a white sand beach with dramatic cliffs for a snorkeling session. After spending time with Greece’s marine life, you’ll enjoy a Greek barbecue on land. Finally, it’s time to cruise home. Enjoy breath-taking views of the sun setting on the horizon.

It has been both an adventurous and educational week in Greece. We hope you had lots of fun, but it’s now time to leave. Enjoy a final breakfast with your group and guides. Talk about your favorite memories and what you have learned. Next, head to the local airport for your departure flight home.
