Itinerary

Your overseas adventure has begun as you travel to Nassau. As your plane descends, take a look out of your window to see the pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters of the Bahamas. A local guide will be waiting to transfer you to your beachfront resort.

The afternoon is yours to explore your environment. Go for a nature walk on a nearby trail, stroll along the beach, or take a dip in the hotel infinity pool. In the evening, you’ll meet with your group and guide for authentic Carribean cuisine, offering you a great opportunity to get to know your guides and ask questions about your upcoming adventures.

After a well-rested night, it’s time to explore the capital city where you are residing. Begin your drive through the historic town before stopping at the Rum Cake Factory to enjoy pina colada, banana, and chocolate cake (YUM!). Next, arrive at the famous bridge connecting Nassau to Paradise Island. Explore the beaches and enjoy a picnic lunch. Following this, you’ll arrive at Queen’s Staircase to climb all 65 hard-carved steps to experience panoramic views of the city. Can you make it to the top? Your last stop is Junkanoo beach where you can hang in hammocks, suntan, or go for a swim.

Get ready to get wet and wild as today is your first day of scuba diving lessons! Make your way to Nassau’s PADI Diving Center for a short presentation to learn about diving equipment. Next, make your way to the training pool and gear up to experience breathing underwater. Your instructor will teach you the skills and techniques of diving. Following this, make your way to the beach for a diving experience in a shallow reef. Your instructors will accompany underwater to introduce you to Nassau’s marine life! After a big day of learning, enjoy a late lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel. Well done!

Oink, Oink! We hope you love pigs as much as we do because today you’ll go swimming with them! Jump on a powerboat and enjoy views of beaches, cliffs, and caves on this wild ride. When you arrive at Pig Beach, you’ll enjoy a personal experience with these natural, un-caged animals. Splash in the water, run on the beach and hug these loving pigs. You’ll also have the opportunity to see and feed wild iguanas. Enjoy lunch at a beach-front restaurant before heading back to your resort.

It’s another day of diving! Now that you have the hang of things, it’s time to dive into the deeper waters of the Carribean Ocean. Gear up and climb onto the boat to make your way to your diving spot. Your instructors will refresh your memories on the diving basics as you cruise. Now, it’s time to plunge into the ocean that drops to a staggering 100 feet. Swim amongst a variety of marine life, including colorful fish, starfish, sea horses, eels, and more! This diving site, Cessna, was featured in the filming of Jaws! Absorb the breath-taking wonders of the lively underwater world. Your instructors will be alongside you throughout the dive to ensure your safety. As you resurface after four hours, make your way back to shore to receive your Level 1 Diving Certification. Congratulations on your tremendous accomplishment!

It’s your final day in Nassau! Let’s make sure it’s one to remember. Jump on your luxury yacht for a scrumptious breakfast and cocktails on the top deck with views. As you arrive at Rose Island, grab some snorkel gear, and explore the lively underwater world abundant with schools of colorful exotic fish and living coral. On a pavilion, enjoy a buffet lunch before choosing from an array of activities. Suntan and read a book, indulge at the beach bar, play beach volleyball, or paddle the sea by kayak. It’s up to you! Following this, head back into the water for a fish-feeding show by your guides before heading back to your resort.

It’s hard to believe how quickly a week can fly by! Take your last morning in the Bahamas to enjoy a buffet breakfast with your guides and friends. Reflect on your favorite memories of the trip – they will last a lifetime. After eating, you will be transferred to the local airport for your flight home.
