Your overseas adventure has begun as you travel to Tahiti. As you descend, take a look out of your window to see crystal-clear water and pristine beaches. A local guide will be waiting to transfer you to your luxury beach villas.
The afternoon is yours to explore your environment look for wildlife on a nature path, jump into the ocean, or get a massage at the resort’s spa. In the evening, you’ll meet with your guide for a traditional Tahitian dinner, offering a great opportunity to get to know your guides and ask questions about your upcoming adventures!
After a good night’s rest, explore the wonders of the heart of the South Pacific. Board your luxury coach to make your way to Marae Arahurahu, which is a site where ceremonies take place in honor of ancient gods. Next, arrive at Vaipahi Garden to explore ponds, tropical flowers, and waterfalls. Enjoy a picnic lunch before making your way to Venus Point. Dip your toes into the black sand on this beach. You’ll finish the day at Taharaa Viewpoint for spectacular panoramic views of the island and the ocean.
Today is an absolute highlight of the trip! Make your way to the Paul Gauguin Museum to learn about this renowned artist, as well as view hundreds of pieces of his work. Paul Gauguin aimed to capture and broadcast Tahiti’s charms to the world. His paintings exude vivid colors, dazzling light, and lush vegetation. Gauguin’s move to the island in 1891 inspired some of his best-known work. Tour his print, drawing, and carving exhibits. Learn more about the artist in other exhibitions of letters, photographs, and documentation. As you continue to experience the island of Tahiti this week, be sure to keep this artist’s work in mind. The places you go will resemble much of his art.
Get ready to get wet as you board your luxury yacht. Enjoy breakfast on the open-air deck with a glass of champagne. As you cruise to Opunohu Bay, enjoy the wind in your hair, salty sea smell, and magnificent island scenery. As you cruise into the lagoon, you’ll spot stingrays and black-tip sharks in the shallow waters. Put on your snorkel gear and dive in to encounter breath-taking marine life and coral reefs. Swim to shore to learn how to crack a coconut and make posson cru with the crew. Enjoy a delicious barbecue on land before returning to your villa.
Prepare for another adventurous day. A speedboat will pick you up and zoom you to the nearby island of Moorea. Here you will set out on the Three Coconuts Pass nature trail starting from the Belvedere Lookout. Enjoy breathtaking views of the valley before trekking along a forested path of chestnut trees. Your guide will point out a range of bird calls and teach you about the different plants you encounter. Halfway, you will stop at a waterfall for a picnic lunch and a refreshing swim. Continue hiking until the trees open up. You’ll be transferred to your boat to ride cruise back to your resort.
It’s your final day in Tahiti, and it’s going to be a blast — literally! Jump on your private jet ski to soar around the island led by a professional guide. Hit waves to soar high into the air. Your guide will take you to the marine life hotspots, where you’ll have the chance to spot and swim with spinner dolphins, stingrays, sharks, and, if you’re lucky, humpback whales. Zoom into Cooks Bay for a chance to eat lunch, explore nature trails, snorkel, and suntan.
