Itinerary
Depart from Arusha and head towards Tarangire National Park where you’ll begin your game drive across a rich vista of endless golden savannah that surrounds the vital Tarangire River. Here you will have the chance to spot the park’s large elephant population and other herbivores such as zebras and antelopes while enjoying a picnic along the river.
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge then depart for a transport to Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day tour. Visit Ngorongoro Crater, home to over 120 species of mammals from the comfort of your open-top vehicle. Enjoy a picnic at the park’s famous hippo pool.
When you arrive at the crater, you will experience firsthand the majesty of one the largest intact caldera in the world and one of the most spectacular sights in all of Africa.
Then you will descend into the crater floor for a day of game watching. All of the big 5 including rhinos, lions, leopards, buffalo, and elephants live in this wonderful caldera alongside zebras, hippos, wildebeest, hyenas, and many more! View spectacular birds including flamingos on the Soda Lake, geese, storks, and vultures.
Depart from Arusha and head towards Lake Manyara National Park with a stop at the vibrant Mto Wa Mbu market town along the way. Once you arrive at Lake Manyara National Park, experience some of the best game viewing in the world.
Lake Manyara National Park is a scenic gem, once described by Ernest Hemingway as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”. It’s one of Tanzania’s smaller parks, with nearly two-thirds of its area covered by the lake. The compact game viewing here is a true microcosm of the Tanzanian safari experience.
Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions, the world’s largest population of baboons, 400 species of birds and the soda-ash lake with pink-hued flamingos.
Enjoy your lunch with coffee, tea or hot chocolate on site before beginning your drive back to Arusha for transport to the airport.

Reviews
Worldwide Navigators has such a unique model for travel that is so needed in our world today. They are providing groups the opportunity to experience the intersection of where travel meets purpose. They coordinated the logistics for my recent mission with International Medical Relief for disaster relief in the Bahamas after Hurricane Dorian struck. Everyone I spoke to leading up to the trip was so helpful and kind -- they made me feel like family! I highly recommend Worldwide Navigators for anyone coordinating group travel. They're a great fit for non-profits, student groups, organizations, and families looking to travel with purpose! Thanks for all you do, Worldwide Navigators!
