The Fashion for Good Experience is where you need to begin this sustainable fashion journey. Your Fashion for Good docent will guide you through the interactive museum where you will discover how your clothes were made and how you can proactively make positive changes in your wardrobe and beyond.

Enjoy a group lunch with your fellow fashionistas and your afternoon innovator, who will highlight traditional textile science and alternative textile creation methods using techniques like polymer spinning.

Explore the canals of Amsterdam while munching on a casual dinner. A canal cruise is perfect for seeing Amsterdam at her best.

Back at Fashion for Good today, you will have two educational sessions. In the morning, you will participate in ongoing projects like developing new equipment or exploring project incubation. 

After lunch, spend time with the Research and Development team where you will learn about the testing process to determine the fabric longevity. Take part in the fabric destruction process – testing the durability of the manufactured fabrics.

A local tour guide will meet you after breakfast for a morning bike tour around Amsterdam. Bikes are an important transportation method here, so the city is very bike-friendly. Visit the highlights of Amsterdam, including Anne Frank’s House, Prinsen Island, Botanical Gardens, Old Church, Canal Belt, Jordaan District and more.

Dappermarkt is the place to be for a lively and exotic lunch. The neighborhood is an eclectic mix of nationalities and cuisine where you can experience new foods, shop for interesting clothing and people-watch. Dappermarkt is a feast for the senses.

Project Cece is a sustainable fashion startup offering an online platform that collects items from sustainable clothing brands. The Project Cece platform allows shoppers to view the largest selection of sustainable and fair trade online fashion, highlighting over 500 brands. Your tour will take you to the merchandising side of the fashion trade. You will explore the start-up’s process for evaluating sustainable fashion. 

After a busy day working in the fashion market, enjoy a guided walking tour. Discover the nooks and crannies of Amsterdam’s foodie culture while your guide entertains you with stories of Amsterdam’s past local citizens.

Amsterdam is home to over 100 fashion houses. Tour several today where you will view the houses’ sustainable methods and how they market their eco-friendly goods.
