Examples of its actions include purchasing green energy, providing airport stations for recycling and hydration, and being an active member of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Business Leaders.

As an introduction to the area today, take the tram or chair lift up the mountain and look over the whole Greater Yellowstone ecosystem with its breathtaking landscapes of peaks and river valleys.

Enjoy an evening of western hospitality and getting to know your fellow travelers. Tomorrow begins lots of exploring in this spectacular region.

Spend the day hiking and learning about the natural history and wild inhabitants of the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem. Learn more about the area at the Grand Teton visitor center. Then head to the Death Canyon trailhead and hike to a beautiful overlook peering down to Phelps Lake below, then drop down to Death Canyon – but be on the lookout for bears!

Continue to get acquainted with the peaks and glacial lakes that make up Grand Teton National Park as on a loop that passes Jackson Lake and the panoramic views of the valley from Signal Mountain. When you reach Jenny Lake, you’ll take the boat across to trailheads on the other side where you can hike amidst more amazing scenery to Inspiration Point or Hidden Falls. Heading back across the lake, you’ll continue on to the priceless views from Glacier View Turnout and the Snake River Overlook.

Back in Jackson, relax, explore the town, and enjoy a delicious dinner.

Hike with your expert naturalist near beautiful Teton Pass and then visit the Teton Raptor Center where they provide rescue and rehabilitation to birds of prey. Raptors that cannot recover enough to be released into the wild have the job of educating people up close about the role they play in a balanced ecosystem. While there, you’ll also be able to enjoy floating down the Snake River in a vintage wooden boat looking for raptors and wildlife along the way!

Rest up tonight to depart for an early morning departure to Yellowstone National Park ─ it’s too close to miss seeing it!

You’ll depart early this morning to take advantage of exceptional wildlife viewing when animals are most active and drive north to explore Yellowstone National Park. See Old Faithful and thousands of other thermal features and geological wonders, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, and abundant wildlife. You’ll hike to outstanding spots of stunning landscapes for memorable photographs at every turn. A spectacular day amidst a unique landscape.

Spend today on a wild and scenic raft trip down the Snake River. Your guide will share the area’s rich history while you enjoy incredible views and up close wildlife sightings. At lunchtime, you’ll stop along the banks of the river for a fun western cookout while gazing at the Tetons.

Back in Jackson after drying off, enjoy your evening exploring the town.

Start your day with a breakfast cruise on Jackson Lake to Elk Island where you’ll enjoy a delicious breakfast that includes everything from scrambled eggs and trout to cowboy potatoes and pancakes and bacon and more! Take in the majestic sights and learn more about the area’s folklore and history.

If you’re ready to walk off breakfast, you can explore the newest part of the Tetons – the Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve ─ which includes what was once the Rockefeller family ranch. Check out the eco-friendly design of the preserve center and hike the park’s trails with great views of Phelps Lake and the Tetons.
