Itinerary

To begin your trip, travel abroad to the spectacular and gorgeous Italy. Take a flight into Rome where you will then catch a one-hour train ride to Naples. After finding your hotel and getting settled in, stretch out your legs and take a tour of the underground city. Your guide will share stories and history filled with legends and myths passed down by generations of Neapolitans. Afterward, stroll through the streets and find a restaurant to enjoy some traditional cuisine.

Wake up to a fresh cup of coffee and breakfast before visiting some of the most famous archaeological sites in the world. Have your tour guide pick you up at your hotel and start your adventure at the ruins of Pompeii. At this museum, you will get to breathe in fresh air while learning about the art, history, and archeology of the place. Next, you will visit the Herculaneum excavations which were destroyed in the same eruption as Pompeii although they are better preserved. Legends have it that Hercules was the one to found this ancient city. For your last stop on the tour, you will stop by the Vesuvius National Park which includes the only active volcano in Europe. While making your way to the top you will get to see volcanic material art made by artists from all over the world. After your tour, enjoy the nightlife of the city.

Start the day by taking a ferry to the island of Capri. Use this day to explore around the city and visit some of the stunning landmarks like Villa Lysis and the church of Santo Stefano. The Villa is surrounded by green gardens and gorgeous views which will make you want to take lots of pictures. The simplistic and dramatic architecture of the Santo Stefano church with whitewashed walls will make for a peaceful visit. For the rest of the day, grab your sun towels and sunscreen and relax at the pristine beach. Tonight enjoy the exciting nightlife of the island while enjoying a pina colada.

Today you will get to take a private boat tour of the island and stop at the famous Blue Grotto. You will have access to a deck to suntan and have plenty of opportunities to stop to swim and snorkel in the clear blue waters. For lunch stop in at a restaurant by the sea and enjoy delicious seafood cuisine. After lunch, you will then get to see the caves of Blue Grotto. Lay back and relax as you travel through a sparkling cavern lit by blue light. Make sure to take out your camera and take pictures of this natural heaven. After your tour, spend the rest of your day taking a coastal walk while watching the sun set. Enjoy a glass of wine at dinner and make the most out of your last day on this island.

With the golden hues shining on the water eat a delicious breakfast before starting your day. Take your time this morning by doing any last minute sightseeing or enjoying some beach time before taking a ferry back to Naples. Grab some lunch and then take the train back to Rome. After finding your hotel there are plenty of things you can choose to do in the city for the rest of the afternoon. Visit a museum of your choice, sit down and enjoy a latte at a cafe, or stroll through the shops. For dinner, find a spunky restaurant and try some of the best italian food around.

Being in Rome visiting the Colosseum is a must. Spend the morning taking a tour through the famous 2,000-year-old monument. Your guide will share stories of both animal flights and gladiator battles that used to go on for thousands of spectators. If you want, you can choose to take a special tour which will allow you to set foot on the arena floor and the chambers. After stopping at one of the cute cafes for lunch, meet with a guide to take a street food tour. You will get to learn about the city’s culture and see lots of landmarks along the way. Taste cured meat, cheese, fruit, and deserts at the multiple stands your guide takes you to. For your last night in Italy, choose from numerous available shows to end your trip with a theatrical experience.

Depending on what time your flight leaves take any last minute pictures in the city and grab some delicious pastries and coffee before traveling back to the airport for a flight home.

Italy is home to gorgeous cities and rich western culture. Travel abroad to the capital Rome as well as Naples and Capri. Although there are lots of things to see on this trip, you will get to experience some of the best, like the clear waters of Blue Grotto, the Colosseum, and Pompeii. Learn about the unique culture and archeology found in these cities while enjoying the different scenery each one has to offer.
