Itinerary

A new adventure has begun on your global travel to Barcelona. As your plane descends, take a look out of your window to see Spain’s bustling cities, towering mountains, and a pristine coastline. A local guide will be waiting to transfer you to your inner-city hotel.

The afternoon is yours to explore your environment. Walk around the city, swim at the beach, or get a massage at the hotel spa. In the evening, you’ll meet with your guide for a traditional Mediterranean-style dinner — a great opportunity to get to know your guides and ask questions about your upcoming adventures.

Today you are off to learn about the history of the football club (FC) at FC Barcelona Museum. Walk in the shoes of all-star soccer players, such as Cruyff, Guardiola, and Kubala. After an engaging tour of Barcelona’s sports history, you’ll enter into the famous Nou Stadium. Tour the changing rooms, press box, and TV studio with panoramic views of the entire stadium. How does it feel to be an FC Barcelona player? Next, you’ll arrive at the main tribune area for a tapas lunch. Enjoy spectacular views as you dine before heading back to your hotel.

Today you will visit two of Barcelona’s top attractions while learning about its history and architecture. Begin at the Sagrada Familia Cathedral with your skip-the-line visit. Take in the spectacular sights of this temple constructed in 1882 and designed by Antoni Gaudí, funded by anonymous donations. Its construction continues to this day. After lunch in one of the best tapas in the city, you’ll make your way to Park Guell, also a Gaudí creation. This public area located on the slope of Mount Carmelo is renowned for its garden and unique architecture. Notice all of the colored tiles that give the park life. Take time to explore the area and enjoy breath-taking views of the city.

You’re off to learn about sports science today as you arrive at the Olympic and Sports Museum of Barcelona. Live and learn varying kinds of sports in what is no ordinary museum. It’s a fun and interactive space with multimedia exhibitions to discover your sport abilities like propelling yourself off a vertical jump, mastering the climbing wall, and facing the Batak. Make sure you visit the Idol Space exhibit to learn about the best athletes in history. A professional sports scientist will accompany and educate you throughout the day.

Escape sports for the day to visit the beautiful Monastery of Montserrat. Enjoy an hour-long tour of its highlights before having free time to explore. Absorb magnificent views during a short hike, marvel at the monastery’s art collection, and enjoy the voices of the Montserrat Boys’ Choir. Next, it’s time to satisfy your cravings with a five-course Spanish lunch in Oller del Mas winery restaurant followed by a wine tour. Stroll through the property’s vineyards before heading back to your hotel.

It’s your final day in Spain, and we want to make it extra special. Make your way back to Europe’s largest stadium, Nou Stadium. Here, you will be trained by professional coaches to kick, slide, and block soccer balls like a professional athlete. After working up an appetite, enjoy lunch in Barcelona’s bustling boulevard before heading back to your hotel to prepare for the big game. That’s right! Tonight, you will get to watch Barcelona’s FC team play with your own eyes. Enjoy a meet-and-greet after the game, and be sure to ask lots of questions. What a way to end your last night in Barcelona!

It has been both an adventurous and educational week. We hope you had lots of fun, but it’s now time to say goodbye. Enjoy a final breakfast with your group and guides before transferring to the local airport for your departure flight home.
