Catch a glimpse of Reykjavik’s colorful tin roofs from above on your descent into Iceland. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel and invited to gather for a welcome dinner to sample some of Iceland’s staple dishes.
Start the day early with a delicious Thai breakfast before heading out into the city with your local guide. Admire the stunning architecture, craftsmanship, and intricate details as you tour the Grand Palace and temples of Wat Pho and Wat Arun. Head across the river to Wat Arun to see the Temple of Dawn paired with incredible city views.
Spend the afternoon visiting the famous floating market as you take in the various sights, smells, and tasty treats for sale all around you. Visit Chinatown for a unique culinary experience that you won’t find elsewhere in the city as you stroll the vendor-lined streets.
Rise early for breakfast and your departure to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival in Chiang Mai, go on a tour of the Buddhist temples or wats throughout the city such as Wat Doi Suthep, Wat Phra Singh, Wat Pan Tao, Wat Chedi Luang, and Wat Umong with your local guide.
Spend the evening in a cooking class and learn how to cook world-renowned Northern Thailand staples while you satisfy your taste buds with mouth-watering dishes and curries. Visit Chang Klan Road for the night bazaar full of various handcrafted goods, street food, and plenty of bartering.
The day you’ve been waiting for has arrived: your visit to Elephant Nature Park! Rise early for breakfast before your transfer to the elephant park. Learn about the unfortunate history of animal abuse associated with the tourism economy in Thailand from the top sanctuary and rescue center in Thailand, which is fully committed to education and rehabilitation.
Spend the day as part of the herd as you learn about the elephants and watch them interact in their social groups. Watch as the elephants bathe in the river, and you learn to identify the different individuals by their shape, marking, and attitude. You will quickly be on your way to becoming a pro elephant identifier!
Spend the night in a rustic hut in natural surrounding in the elephant park, where you may get lucky to hear the elephants snore or whisper during the night!
Rise early for breakfast in the park and head for a walk to view the elephants roaming in the open pasture. Spend the afternoon feeding and watching the elephants before you say your goodbyes to your new four-legged friends and head back to the city.
Arrive back into the city and get a relaxing Thai massage by a prison inmate as part of a massage rehabilitation program that helps inmates reintegrate back into society. Spend the evening as you wish, whether it’s visiting the unique cafes spread across the city or going on a Tuk Tuk tour.
Wake early for breakfast and prepare for your departure to Pai, a small town located north of Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, head over to the Big White Buddha located just above 353 steps to enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the city. Make sure you get your camera ready!
Just in time for sunset, hike the Pai Canyon to take in nature and beautiful lookouts as you watch the sun go down in a serene atmosphere. After sunset, wander the night market on the famous walking street and indulge in mouth-watering street food.
Wake to an early breakfast dining with your local guides before heading back to Chiang Mai for your departure home. Spend the afternoon doing last minute shopping and street food testing before making your way to the airport to catch your flight home.
