Itinerary

You’ll fly into Dubai on your first day. Dubai is the jewel of the UAE and is known as a hub for high-end shopping and cutting edge startup business opportunities. It has a fabulous nightlife scene and some of the finest dining in the world. You’ll be treated to a personal tour of Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world.

Your second day in this incredible city will be all about the startup immersion. Dubai is notable for its incredible business culture and you’ll get a firsthand glimpse of how it all works at the Dubai Startup Summit. During this event, you’ll be treated to several keynote speakers who will discuss the challenges of doing business in the region and the different types of startup trends that are cropping up worldwide.

You’ll walk away inspired and excited to start implementing these ideas into your own business pursuits as the Dubai Startup Summit attracts the best of the best. This event will certainly be a highlight of your trip.

You’ll rise early on your third day in Dubai and embark on a half-day private tour with a local guide. You will learn about Dubai’s importance on the world stage, and how this iconic city has also shaped history for the better. Highlights of your tour will include Jumeirah Beach and Dubai’s Old Town.

You’ll also have a chance to do a little shopping. Dubai is known for its world-class malls, but it is also home to several outdoor markets where you can pick up unique items for all of your nearest and dearest back home.

Today you’ll take a 22-minute car ride to Sharjah with your private driver and see a whole different side of the UAE. Sharjah is the UAE’s unofficial cultural capital and the day trip there is a great way for you to get acquainted with the UAE’s past, and how it shaped the present when it comes to business and economic initiatives.

Before heading back to Dubai, you’ll get a chance to check out Sharjah Fort, which was a royal residence and is now a comprehensive history museum that allows you to step back in time and see how the residents of Sharjah lived in days past.

This morning, you’ll enjoy a tour of the International Financial Center. This tour will give you a greater understanding of how Dubai’s economic and financial systems operate, as well as an overview of Dubai’s stock exchange. Your local guide will be on hand to answer any questions you might have, and you’ll enjoy a traditional lunch at the International Financial Center.

It’s time to head into the desert! No trip to the UAE is complete without a visit to the Arabian Desert. Your guided tour will take you to the picturesque dunes that surround Dubai, and you’ll have a chance to ride on a camel or go off-roading in the sand. Your day will conclude with a traditional Arabian tea and a belly dancing ceremony. 

You will return to Dubai with a greater appreciation of the cultural traditions of the region!

Your final day in Dubai will be spent at the United Arab Emirates College of Business and Economics (CBE), where you’ll have a chance to sit down with a panel of esteemed professors and students to learn about where they see the future of Dubai’s economic and business future going. 

This university is on the cutting edge of innovation, and the panel is specifically devoted to exploring new ways to bring the UAE to the cutting edge of economic and business trends.

On this trip to study business in the UAE, you’ll encounter the rich diversity of the country coupled with its prominence on the world startup stage. You’ll learn how Dubai combines legacy financial institutions with new startup initiatives in an exciting and innovative business climate. And of course you’ll get to experience the glorious desert that surrounds Dubai, the historic city of Sharjah, and the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world!
