Itinerary

Your trip abroad to study architecture in Tel Aviv has begun! During your first day, your group will meet up with your guides to visit the Bauhaus Museum and Center. Both places are dedicated to teaching their visitors about the International Style. This style of architecture arrived during the massive immigration of German-Jews to Israel during the rise of the Nazi Party.  The final stop of the day will be to the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. While it was not built during this period, it was made to reflect the Bauhaus aesthetic. After enjoying a day full of learning, your group will enjoy a delicious dinner with your guides, where you can explore the city or turn in early for the night.

Your educational tour of Bauhaus landmarks continues. After breakfast, you will meet up with your guides and head to the White City. You will spend your days in this area of Tel Aviv, where there are over 4,000 examples of this style of architecture. Today you will visit the Bruno House, the Jacobson Building, the Rubinsky House and the Zlatopolsky House.  After visiting these sites, you will enjoy dinner and the robust nightlife of Tel Aviv.

After an early morning and delicious breakfast, your group and guides will embark on a full day of sightseeing in the White City. You will be visiting the Braun-Rabinsky House, 61 Rothschild Boulevard, Elishav House, Shomo Yafe House, and 96 Hayarkon Street. Be sure to ask your guide all the questions you can think off and learn all about these homes, the people who commissioned them and the architects who built them. Be sure to visit the local markets to enjoy the local and traditional street foods of Israel.

Today you will continue touring Bauhaus landmarks in Israel as your guides will show you around more landmarks like 3 Mapu Street, the Avraham Soskin House, Dr. Leon Pines House, and the lovely Thermometer House. Today is a great day to enjoy some of the outdoor activities that Tel Aviv has to offer. Have a picnic with your guides and enjoy the lovely Mediterranean landscape and sea.

On the fifth day of your Bauhaus extravaganza, your group and guides will visit the Erlich House, Kiriyaty House, and Krieger House. After visiting these sites, take some time to visit the Jaffa coast to enjoy some fun in the sun and beach time in the Mediterranean Sea. There are many great restaurants on the coast where you can have a delicious meal and enjoy the warmth and sunshine.

Today is your final day touring the International Style landmarks of Tel Aviv. After breakfast, your guides will show you the Dunkelblum House and the expansive Esther Cinema, which is also a great opportunity to do some shopping for your loved ones back home. The Dizengoff Center is a great place to enjoy a quick meal and do some shopping. Your group will enjoy dinner one last night with your guides, where you can ask questions and discuss all that you have learned.

Enjoy your last hours in the city by doing some last-minute sightseeing and shopping. Your group will then head to the airport for the trip back home, with heads full of knowledge.

Tel Aviv has for millennia been and exciting, unique mix of different cultures, and a blend of ancient and modern influences.
