Itinerary

Your educational student tour has begun as your plane begins its descent into Quebec. Look out of your window to see the country’s ocean, forests, and mountains. A local guide will be waiting at the airport to bring you to your hotel in the city center.

Take some time to rest and unpack, then the rest of the afternoon is free time. Order room service, check out the hotel’s gift shop or take a walk around the city. In the evening, you will meet with your local guides for dinner at the hotel restaurant. Take this time to get to know your guides and ask questions about your upcoming schedule.

Begin your morning with breakfast and a French language class. This how you will start all your days on the trip. Learn essential French words before formulating more complex phrases and sentences. Be sure to apply what you learn to your experiences on this trip!

Today you will tour the famous Québec City. Learn interesting facts and hear stories from an expert guide. You’ll begin by exploring Old Québec City, which is the historical heart of Canada. You’ll get a European vibe with its narrow streets and stone buildings. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant to practice your French speaking skills. Following this, you’ll visit the Citadelle of Québec, Fortifications of Québec, Notre-Dame-des-Victoires Church, and Place Royal. After a busy day, head back to your hotel to unwind.

Can you say “les aliments”? We hope so because that’s the theme of the day. Meet a local guide to sample traditional Québec cuisine. Save room in your stomach, because you’ll enjoy 15 tastings across seven venues. That’s a lot of food. Next, you’ll visit Le Tournebroche for a glass of their organic rotisserie wine. You’ll end the day at a local pub to discuss your favorite foods and how they compare to the food in your home country. If you still have room in your stomach, stop by a chocolate shop to satisfy your sweet tooth on your transfer back to your hotel. Something tells us you may not be hungry for dinner tonight!

You spend the day at the beautiful waterfalls of Montmorency. Grab a bike to pedal along 16 miles of flat terrain. View the picturesque Saint-Charles River along the way. You’ll stop at Domaine de Maizerets for a walk around its garden and a picnic lunch. Keep a lookout for Canada’s fantastic wildlife. Next, you’ll hop on a cable car for breathtaking views of the Montmorency Falls, as well as the famous Niagara Falls.

Learn the words for cold, ice, and winter before today’s trip the Québec’s famous Ice Hotel. A guided tour will show your its ice sculptures, rooms, and suits. Enjoy a unique lunch and drink at the ice bar. You’ll learn about the history of this hotel, as well as the figures who made it so spectacular. Bundle up because you’ll be spending the night! What an incredible Canadian experience to tell your friends and family about.

Escape from the bustling city of Québec for an adventurous day on to water. A luxury motor coach will pick you up on St. Lawrence River to bring you to the Bai-Sainte-Catherine, thought to be the best whale watching site in the world. Enjoy breath-taking views of beautiful killer whales and grey whales breaching where the river meets the Atlantic Ocean. These memories will last a lifetime. Enjoy lunch at a nearby village before heading back to your hotel.

This week has flown by, and it’s time to leave this beautiful and historical province. Enjoy breakfast with your guides and group before heading to the local airport for your departure flight.

Canada is known for its glorious nature and wildlife as well as its mixed culture. The extraordinarily large country is rated among the world’s most beautiful locations for a reason.

On your trip to Québec, you will learn the language of love (i.e., French) while visiting the province’s top attractions. The trip’s highlights include biking Montmorency Falls, staying overnight in an ice hotel, and boating the St. Lawrence River to spot whales. Book your educational student tour to Canada today!
