After a well-rested night, start your week in Scotland with a bang. Take a private coach up to the high mountains of Arthur’s Seat. Appreciate the country’s scenery and natural landscapes as you ride. Next, put on your helmet for a biking ride back down to sea level. Enjoy the wind in your hair as you soar. Finally, you will arrive at the beach of Port of Leith and Portobello. Eat lunch at a local restaurant, before dropping off your bikes and exploring the seaside. Next, you’re off to Holyrood Palace to tour the interior chambers of Mary Queen of Scots at the State Apartments. Enjoy lunch before continuing to Edinburgh Castle. Absorb breathtaking views from Castle Rock and take an interior tour inside the medieval castle before heading back to your hotel for free time.

Wake up ready to learn more about marine science as you travel to Scotland’s SEA LIFE aquarium. View venomous Scorpion Fish and Lionfish to learn how these predators protect themselves against larger fish. Next, encounter some of the ocean’s top predators, including eels, sharks, and stingrays. Rise and shine, another adventure awaits! Climb into your private coach for a trip to Fort Augustus. Enjoy the spectacular scenery as you drive by many historical monuments. As you disembark on the beach of Loch Ness, enjoy a boat ride to listen for “Nessie,” aka the Loch Ness Monster, on a sonar system. You’ll ride under three 19th-century bridges before making your way to the open ocean. Make your way to the top deck to observe a variety of marine life.
