Itinerary

Bright and early we’ll depart from the capital city of Antananarivo to head east towards the rainforest. Along the way, we’ll visit a reptile farm and learn about endemic species of chameleons, lizards, geckoes, and frogs.

We’ll be staying in a Forest Lodge for the next three nights, where a world of rainforest mystery lies just outside your bedroom door. Spend the evening wandering the paths of the Lodge and spotting mouse lemurs & chameleons in their natural habitat.

Wake up to a traditional Madagascar breakfast and get ready for a day visiting the famous Indri Indri! The largest lemurs in the world can be found in the Analamazaotra National Park.

The afternoon will be spent at VOIMMA reserve for more animal adventures! With 60 species of lemurs living in Madagascar, it’s an obvious spot for animal enthusiasts. Learn about the lemurs on the endangered species list and the efforts being done to protect these incredible creatures.

Today you’ll discover the Mitsinjo Reserve. Mitsinjo translates to “looking forward”, and there are a number of efforts to ensure that the wildlife of Madagascar has a thriving future.

The adventure continues as we return to the Forest Lodge. The lodge has it’s very own private reserve that we’ll explore next. Snap a photo of a lemur on your shoulder, a memory to be cherished! We’ll enjoy a traditional dinner at the Forest Lodge for our final night in Madagascar.

This morning we’ll head back to Antananarivo for a tour of the capital city. Journey down the independence road and learn about the rich history of the city. We’ll end at the Queen’s place of Manjakamiadana for a view of the city and a break for lunch.

Enjoy panoramic views of Antananarivo before heading back to the airport for your departure home.

Tonga soa eto Madagasikara!
