Itinerary

Welcome to Panama! Arrive by plane to Bocas del Toro, or Bocas Town, the southern tip of Isla Colón in the Caribbean Sea. After checking in to your hotel, grab a bite to eat in the town center and spend the afternoon exploring this unique, tropical paradise.

Choose from lounging on the white sands of the sheltered Starfish Beach, surfing the high tide at Bluff Beach, shopping in Simón Bolívar Park where artisans sell local crafts, or exploring Bird Island, home to the rare red-billed tropicbird.

In the evening, dine at a select Panamanian restaurant serving delicious tamales and patacones de plátano (fried plantain cakes).

Rise in the morning to enjoy a leisurely breakfast before hopping on a catamaran to explore these islands and Panama’s coast by sea. While at sea, roll out your towel to lounge on deck, strap on your snorkel gear to dive underwater, or help out the captain and learn the basics of sailing.

When you return in the late afternoon, head to the shoreside restaurant specializing in Panamanian cuisine to watch the sunset over the sea.

Enjoy breakfast served at the hotel and spend your free time exploring the town of Bocas del Toro before beginning your departure home. Then, say your goodbyes and head to the airport to journey onward.

¡Bienvenido a Panamá!

Panama, most famous for its massive feat in human engineering, The Panama Canal, is a country on the isthmus linking Central and South America. The Panama Canal, which cuts through the country’s center, links the Atlantic and Pacific oceans to create an essential shipping route. Modern skyscrapers, casinos and nightclubs in the capital, Panama City, contrast the colonial buildings in the Casco Viejo district and the rainforest of Natural Metropolitan Park.
