Itinerary

Welcome to Cusco! Situated at 11,150 ft, this bustling city has a remarkable history, soaring churches and architectural feats nestled into the mountain landscape.

Today we will explore the Koricancha Temple, the Main Square, the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, and finally, a visit to the Inka’s Expression Art Workshop where you will see local Andean Artists at work. With so many sights to see, your first day is packed full of adventure!

Begin your day with a visit to Chinchero, a picturesque village containing significant Inca ruins dating back to the 15th century. Tour Urpi, a famous textile center where you will witness Andean spinning and weaving techniques. Next, venture to Racchi vantage point for the best views of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Finally, visit the village of Ollantaytambo, which is known as the only living Inca town. Here you will have the chance to climb to the top of Ollantaytamb fortress and hear about the last battle between the Spanish soldiers and Incas.

Today we’ll venture into the Sacred Valley to visit the village of Pisac! The Pisac Market offers winding rows of handcrafted goods and delicious varieties of produce & snacks. While we could spend a whole day here, we’re onto the next adventure as we make our way to the Pisac Ruins. These stunning ruins are one of the most well-preserved ruins in all of Peru. Make your way up the terraces to discover the mysteries of this ancient civilization.

In the evening we will head back to Cusco for your departure home. Come back soon!
